Can courtesy of Bacchus66, Thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that soon vanishes into a fine ring. The aroma is cocoa and sweetened coffee with a trace of spicy roasted grains. The taste is sweetened coffee and coca with only a hint of toasted coconut. The palate is full and viscous. Finished long and this is where the coconut finally shows itself. Overall: very nice Saturday morning quaff.

Bottle shared at yearly Fryslân tasting. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Aroma is malts, bourbon. Flavor is malts, bourbon, vanilla, more bourbon, no alcohol burn, very well balanced, oh my word what a great stout! Absolutely awesome!! Thanks for sharing Patrick!

Very light on the coffee, with a slight roastiness added to the bright pineapple, peach, grapefruit, and mango notes from the hops. Finishes very sweet with a vegetal undertone that doesn’t mesh well with what little java there is. Okay.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow, hazy, small soft head. Aroma and taste are soft and gentle, muted fruity notes. Very faint floral also. Not very exciting.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from BrewDog Dalston. Pours murky gold with a small, foamy white head. Medium sweet flavour, jammy citrus, some gooey pine, bready pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, nips of white pepper, oily pine, ripening citrus. Not bad overall.

Juicy as all hell, full of mandarin, tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple, and peach, backed up by traces of pine and wet malt. Like Vol. 17, it feels almost overhopped, but backs off just before any weird vegetal notes set in. Not bad at all.

Not bad, juicy and sweet, offering up overripe peach and papaya, backed up by lime zest, fruit punch, and a little grainy sweetness. Finishes with a mix of citrus, yeast, flowers, and a very minor vegetal note. Close to being overhopped, but reins it in at the last second.
