Brewery draught, 4/3/24. Heavily hazy, blonde-maize. Small, white head quickly to light cover. Orange juice and light acidity with mineral and white wine. Nice combination of fruit and hop, though leaving things a bit dry and crackery. Quite spicy, clean, bit piney. Juicy, lots of orange pulp, clean and bright with light malt, high attenuation, lots of biscuit. Lemongrass like spice with no onion. Lots of cracker and high attenuation. I feel like Kettlehead improves every time I come. No sweet beers whatsoever this time.

Brewery draught, 4/3/24. Hazy watermelon. Small, pinkish head to spotty cover quickly. Really juicy, fruity, with rich vanilla and soft malt. Low marshmallow. Excellent authenticity on the strawberry. Easygoing hops with light pine, citrus, spice. Hoppier character with good bitterness. Malty and quite dry with lingering Van lla and lightly juicy strawberry. Clean and pretty well-balanced. Really well-done fruit and vanilla additions. Wouldn't hate a touch more hop character.

Aromas are a nice blend leaning resin with citrus, MJ and wet grain. Flavors are similar to nose, citrusy sweet tart up front with a long bitter finish. Full mouth with lightly soft carbonation. Pretty good but not great.

Can, from Beer Boutique, Brooklyn (Mar 2024). Pours cloudy rich yellow with a frothy off-white head, citrus zest aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter citrus zest, peach taste faint alcohol undertones, smooth body, long juicy finish. Smooth and flavorful.

Can (11/27/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque dark brown with nice sparkle, fizzy light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts, maple, chocolate, vanilla, mild bourbon over hints of coconut and coffee. Taste is sweet bourbon, malts, chocolate, vanilla, later maple. Smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with light bitterness. Bourbon seems to add to the sweetness rather than cut it and more coffee bitterness would have been welcome. I like sweet stouts but this could use better balance.

Pours creamy orange into a tulip. Soapy orange head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Bright sweet tangerine aromas. Crisp and thin with tangerine pith and peel upfront turning to tart kumquat before the lasting dirty tropical fruit skin and hint of vanilla finish.
