Draft with lunch at packed brewpub. Light purple little watery looking. Nose is pretty lovely blueberry. Tastes more subdued some wheat and lemon. Thin palate. But coming straight from hiking hit the spot.

Can from the packie. Inky opaque black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Big coconut on the nose with licorice roast and dark chocolate. Flavor follows the aroma nicely. More suntan lotion than coffee or maple but it is tasty.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee via The Packie--thanks, John! It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with lots of sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white frothy-foam head with fair retention and decent rings of lacing. Aroma is moderately strong mix of citrus, melon, nondescript fruit, smidge of pine. Taste is a stronger version of the aroma without the melon. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation, no hint of alcohol, and finish as taste with lingering yeast and moderate dry bitterness. Overall, I can certainly recognize the hop mix here. Not overly complex and it's sort of nondescript but pretty good.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Massive carbonation upon opening and barely able to get into the glass without spilling. Once it calms down, it's a dark, dark, cloudy brown-mahogany with light sparkle, 2-finger width crackling, fizzy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong coconut, light coffee/mocha (increases as it warms). Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, weird carbonation issue but may have just been a jostled 4-pack. Coconut is nice but overshadows the coffee. A little thin. OK.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee via The Packie--thanks, John! It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger width off-white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit and herbal/vegetal (more herbal/vegetal as it warms). Taste is strong, dank herbal/vegetal over citrus, grapefruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, and finish as taste with late dry yeast and mild bitterness. Overall, well above average all around. Aroma is a bit more balanced and complex than the flavor but this is really good.

Can from the Packie Deep brown with faint amber edges and a bubbly tan head that slowly dissipates. Sweet sugary candy like maltiness with plenty of resinous pine and pithy citrus to counter.
