16oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear brown pour, bubbly head which disappears quickly. Sweet, malty aroma, cola, root beer, licorice. Taste is malty, toffee, sweet, , anise. Medium weight, alcohol heat appears toward the back. Really smooth and quite tasty.

Taster from the bottle at the Weldwerks Invitational, 2025. Pours black, with a small, brown head. The nose is red wine, brown bread, grassy rum, cloves, and cherry. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and a little musty. Lovely, unique, and fun.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Mahogany brown color. Frothy tan head. Subtle toasted malt aroma hints at molasses and cocoa. Flavor is rich and malty. Notes of dark chocolate, earthy roasted malt, dark toffee and bittersweet, herbal hops. Billed as a Doppel Oktoberfest, this hits on both counts. Sweet, roasty, sticky, full bodied and chocked full of flavor. Ridiculously delicious. Two of my favorite styles mashed up into one. Genius!

Aromas our dark malt, toffee, molasses, and a bit of roast. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet with molasses coming out a bit more. Decent body and carbonation. Nice and tempted creating a beer style. I'd drink another one.
