Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium creamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing. Aroma of caramel, earthy malt and fruit. Medium body with flavors of peaty malt, caramel and a distinct smoky note. Some hops in the background too. Smoked malt aftertaste lingers. Decent overall.

Medium body with a sweet malty character that has notes of caramel and hops. The finish is sweet with a toasted malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, malt and a touch of pine. The finish is moderately bitter hops with a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin ivory white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts and mild hops. Light body with flavors of doughy malt, hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is lightly hoppy up front with a lingering malt sweetness left behind. Drinkable session beer overall.
