Sample at Market Garden during the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/12/2018. The beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Malt, oak and pumpkin spice in the nose. Medium body with flavors of malt, maple, cinnamon and slight bourbon. The finish is sweet with a pumpkin spice and maple aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce bottle from a random grocery store. Bought today, but drink by date is 11/23/18. Hazy orange, large fizzy white head fades quickly. Aroma of strong clove and spice followed by wheat and citrus. Taste is wheat, spice, citrus. Thin-medium bodied. Solid.

12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 10/15/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, peppercorn, clove, mint, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, peppercorn, clove, mint, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; peppery yeast spiciness; and slight citrus/wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, peppercorn, clove, mint, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly tangy/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an excellent witbier! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Was expected more citrus initially; but it is basically perfectly balanced between fruit, spices, Wit yeast, pale/wheat malts, and earthy hops. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

$2 can at vintage in boardman. Smell is somewhat Pours with a big foamy creamy craggy head. Nose is somewhat plastic and artificial hops. This stuff looks kindah cloudy almost muddy but not. Taste is big blast IPA hops, quite rude and terribly on style. Yes, big rude IPA flavors with lots of big dull mouth coating nastiness. So bad, so rude, so IPA. Now my ratebeerian friends, I don't like IPA so ignore my number if you do, this is so on style, its really IPA all the way, and I'm making a rhyme, so gimmie a dime.

12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a small fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a very good Pre-prohibition lager. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich barely/grain flavors, with plenty of earthy hop presence for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts, would have preferred it be a little less hoppy. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slihgtly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Lingering notes of grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Great Chinook hop showcase as expected, but also includes Eureka for added tropical/stone fruit notes. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice sized bready malt backbone, with mild lingering sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, well made Midwest style IPA.

Cloudy golden coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of pure bananas, cloves, bubble gum, coriander seed with a touch of curacao and full oranges, but the banana and pure yeast notes are very nice and refreshing. Medium-bodied; Strong banana and yeast flavours at first with a great pure honey sweetness that shows a glimmer of curacao and actual oranges along with a heavy hit of refreshing wheat that makes this easy-to-drink and refreshing throughout. Aftertaste shows some light spices with coriander seed, white pepper and a touch of anise around the edges, but the banana, bubble gum and yeast flavours are the strongest. The refreshing quality along with some smooth complexities are nice as well and show a good beer, especially for the summertime. Overall, a great beer to try and well worth trying to find and/or stocking up on a lot of this during the summertime as this is great when the sun and heat come out. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, given to me by James from my hockey team, purchased in Cleveland, Ohio on 17-January-2018 - Thanks James, and sampled by me on 01-July-2018 on one of the days that the heat index popped over 100d Farenheit.

Yes, $2 for my can! As soon as I saw the name I was looking forward to trying this. Eye is bubbling lemonade. Mild interesting off-farmy heffy aroma. Taste at first is quite sharp, nears astringent but never quite gets there. Pretty good c02 in this one, crisp palate. If you don't focus on the bite at first, its not that noticeable but then each slugs fades into a near wheat ale experience. Overall, went down pretty nicely.

Baby blue can from vintage. Pours like a lighter brilliant crisp pale with a slight haze. Typical clean american ubiquitous pale lager olfactory, no ill aromas are presented to the nose. Taste is more hoppy than I thought it would be but, then it begins to settle. Very good fine lager carbonation. Yes, cutting crisp and goes down easy. Could possibly be the next step up from a pale lager. Finish evolves to be a somewhat old world pilz. Not bad.

Unfiltered bottle. Yeasty smell is muted brittle banana. Looks like a slightly hazy wheat ale and, ale it is. Not quite as smooth as a real hefe and it somewhat comes across more like an industrial wheat ale. Creamy sizzle at times. Initially a little tart hidin-in the background and that gives way to a processed feel & ending. Perhaps its a little aged? Can't find a code. Gets better during the finish.
