12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, best before 7/31/2017. Pours hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an amazing hefeweizen! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, and a flawless style example. Perfectly balanced yeast/malt flavors. A highly enjoyable offering, and the best American made style example I have had.

Bottle as pictured pours a thicker looking viscous liquid with a hop plant resinous odor. Slight hazy look of hefe. Tase is big thick monstrous citrus bite, alien to any citrus I know. Yes, quite large & incharge with its capacity to get in yer face. Surprisingly has a decent co2 that mo st big ipas lack. If you like IPA, go for it and ignore my numbers, terribly onstyle; big bold balderdash. Piss off. A pretty tuff in yer face hoppy beer, lust like the picture on the label, heheh.

From a bottle pour is big and black with a tan nearly choco-moose head. Smell is, what else? Coffee. Yes, a good example of a coffee based porter. Me? I like it a little less baltic. Whew, I think I’m waken’ up ’er sumthin. Alky kick for a depressant and then caffeine blow-by for an upper? What else could you ask fer? Not really in yer face but it does continue to assert itself like a mate trying to attract yer intrist. Good job MG!
