Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a thin white head tha evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of oak, malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and subtle bourbon. The finish is slightly oaky with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Roast malt, fruit and caramel in the nose. Light to medium body with a caramel malt character and notes of fruit and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of banana, caramel malt and earthy yeast. The finish is fruity with a short Belgian yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a pineapple and hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Light-bodied with an underlying solvent character and notes of citrus and wheat. The finish is astringent with a bitter citrus aftertaste. Guessing there was something wrong with this batch, below average overall.
