Bottle thanks to Drake! Dark brown, dusting of a beige head. Chocolate, dark fruit, roasted malt nose. Oh this is nice: black cherry, chocolate, caramel, wood, lightly earthy in the end. The cherry lingers on. Very nice.

12 ounce bottle from Bazil's, 7/15/20. Black, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, roast, chocolate, nuts. Taste is raisin, roast, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, oak. Full bodied, booze there a bit but well hidden. Warming. Nice.

12 ounce bottle from the brewery, 2/15/20. Dark brown, large fizzy brown head, fair retention. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, wood, something bordering on molasses. Taste is roast, dark fruits, cherry, oak. Medium bodied, booze well hidden, a tad bit thin for the style. Tasty.

Keg at the brewery, 2.15.20. Clear copper large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of pine, spruce, grapefruit. Taste is spruce, pine, caramel malt. Medium bodied well balanced lingering bitterness.

Keg at the brewery, 2.15.20. Clear gold thin white head good retention. Aroma of citrus and minty hops, pale malt. Taste matches. Thin, could use more malt character. But it's well executed otherwise and refreshing.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 2/14/20, in honor of my Door County trip tomorrow! Clear red, thin tan head. Aroma of caramel, cherry, earth. Taste is caramel , toast, tea leaves, earth. Medium bodied, low carb. Nice beer.

Bottle - thanks to Drake! Pours nearly black with a dusting of a beige head. Coffee beans, dark and milk chocolate, roasted malt nose. Flavor is somewhat artificial chocolate (not horrible), coffee beans, caramel, burnt nuts, roasted malt. Fine, but slightly artificial.
