Can, gusher when opened, darnit! Slight haze on a pale beer. First impression on the palate is it has a ton of carbonation; I like that in an IPA, it detracts from the terribly bitter hop bite. Taste reminds me of the old Great Divide Hot Shot. Yes, tons of bitterness lurking in there, certainly enough to earn its style. Not sure if I get this thing about making a lager that tastes like an IPA, seems like an oxymoron. I'm not an IPA lover so take this with a grain of salt; one of the better IPA I've had in a while.

Pour from cheap can. Simple pale yellow, has a slight detectable haze, with a white head. Somewhat nose of metallic orange. Taste is off blood orange, fer sher. Yes, certainly the orange is apparent. To call this hefe, is a lie, it's more like a mild wheat ale. I abhor the confusion between hefe and wheat ale, two totally different styles. Not bad tho, better than expected. Decent amount of co2 in the middle. Towards the end its hard to find any negative effects, it just seems like a better than average fruit beer. OK, but would not buy another. There you have it.

Pretty silver and sea foam blue can. Smells like many nut beers. Pour is dark brown like root beer and there is a head that rapidly fades. First off, I'm not much for nut beers nor pecans. Better to have walnuts in my beer, LoL. Funny, the description says its like sweet candied pean pie, no way. Its just another dark beer brewed with nuts in it. At least it has a pretty good alky kick to make me not think much about the taste. Also, it really doesn't seem to have that much alky in it, fairly laid back for a 7% brew. Would rather just have a straight up plain old brown ale.

From a can that I got from total wine in north carolina. It was only 2$ or less. Its a hazy style pale yellow looking beer. Yes, its a typical IPA, there are so many of them anymore, the fine line between one and another is totally blurred, and this is the same. Its an IPA but its bitter as bullshit like any other IPA, typical of the craft brewer domestic variety. Strange, how a style, within a brewer, can pick up so many different brew listings, from the same fricken style, but its the same beer, heheheh. Look, I hate IPA, so I'm biased against the enjoyability of the style. One big gulp is a big mouthful of bitter bastard and this is tasting like it is. Mouthcoating, nasty nellie, this is yer typical IPA. So be it, and there, you have it. Some school clothes for the grand kids? I guess so, these IPA are a total waste.
