2$ can from bargain shelf. Nose is slightly sweet with a mild tart olfactory. Deeper orange pale, near clear. Thin vanilla yellah head. First taste I get a little tartness in there, and I like that! Booz is well hidden for a nine percenter but there is a slight warming sensation happening here. Surprisingly smooth and easy, this may be one of the more civilized tripels I've had in a while. Yes, it lacks all the rude ass bad attributes that poorly made domestics commonly possess. Man, I should have got a six pack of these babies. The tartness along with the good level of carbonation almost makes this refreshing! How can that be? A refreshing 9+ percent ABV! Wow! A very interesting and intriguing brew fer sher. Finish is so good for a beer of this nature, I'd swear this was made in Belgium! This is really good stuff there sibby! Now that I looked at my previous ratings, this is the best tripel I've tasted: Even better than Kapittel Tripel Abt 10°, Troegs Naked Elf, Church Brew Millennium Trippel, Chimay Triple / Blanche (White) / Cinq Cents and Witkap-Pater Tripel! Yea you go SR! Totally blew me away!

Pour is a clear amber with no head at all. Aroma is baking spices and some pine. Flavor is some spice but this has a soapy sweet finish. I would not call this a dopple bock as it has a very thin mouthfeel and no malt presence. Kind of spicy, kind of soapy and kinda meh.
