This brew is a slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates gradually to an film. Stringy lace. Floral hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, orange and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Slightly cloudy reddish-mahogany color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of roasted nuts, malt and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of roast pecans, malt and vanilla. The finish is creamy and roasty with a pecan and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

On draught at Kraft House No. 5. The beer is a clear orange-bronze color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Partial sheets of lacing on the glass. Malty aroma with some citrus and hop notes. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, citrus and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Taster at the Sandusky Kroger bar. Pours a dark, red color, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is whole grains, rye, coffee, cocoa, and pine. Sweet and malty, with a sharp, easy bitterness. Light to medium body, with a grainy, syrupy, and slick mouthfeel. This is a fun, aromatic amber, but the finish is a little off.

Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart limes, lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, cracker, corn, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of limes, citrus/earthy hops, grains of paradise, and moderate pale malt/corn notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart limes, lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, cracker, corn, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart limes, lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, cracker, corn, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of limes, citrus/earthy hops, grains of paradise, and moderate pale malt/corn flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice fruit/spiced pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of limes, citrus/earthy hops, grains of paradise, and moderate pale malt/corn flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Nice clean pale malt/grain flavors; with balanced vibrant limes, grains of paradise, and citrus/earthy hops. Not overdone on adjuncts. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected.

Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pear, apricot, lemon, orange, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of peach, pear, apricot, lemon, orange, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and yeast spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with very smooth, bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Mildly increasing warmth of 9.2% after the finish. Overall this is a delicious tripel. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very well rounded Belgian yeast complexity and balanced pale malt/sugars, with solid earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
