On tap at the Winery. Pours black with a light tan head. Creamy vanilla/oak, bourbon, cocoa in the aroma. Cocoa, bourbon, oak, vanilla flavors and some definite alcohol. Some red grape and blueberry, though I only pick out the latter because I know it's in there. Alcohol flavor is strong, but it's quite tasty to me!

12 oz can. Pours black with a small brown head. Coffee and cocoa aroma, smoky, roasty vanilla. Flavor is heavy on the roasty and smoky aspects, with bitter cocoa and some vanilla in there. Agressive, but tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear coppery color with a white head. Raisiny caramel aroma. Flavor has toasty malt with an oxidized note, a hoppy edge, mixing with raisinm burnt caramel, honey sweetness. The braggot version of a barley wine. I really enjoyed this.

On tap at MBGSF 2019. Pours a golden brown with an off-white head. Aromas of brown sugar, toffee. Flavor is toffee, brown sugar, pine hops with a bitterness. Very nice.
Great! Lt tart blood orange/lemon/apple/floral/honey/herbal/lt pepper. Semisweet/med+ body. Lt acid/tangy drying. No cloying. Smooth/min warmth. Very clean honey complexity/solid blood orange presence. Loved it!
