Bottle(from toom, Marktheidenfeld): Extremely pale golden, creamy bleached head, lemony-sweetish nose with really faint beery traces; sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; not much more "beer" in the fruity sourish finish. Refreshing, but where’s the beer...

(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep golden to light-amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty and slightly bready cara-malty aroma with notes of sour dough and a shy hoppy tinge. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly bready and doughy cara-malty taste with shy hoppy notes; moderately sweet malty finish with a touch of yeasty and hoppy bitterness. Better head a little further to the east and challenge the real art of Kellerbier. 05.V.12

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thick tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and very malty with strong notes of caramel and alcohol as well as medium notes of bread, leading to a dry alcoholic and bitter finish. The alcohol tickles.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear orangey brown with a tall, dense, beige head that leaves some lacing. Distinct aroma of pumpernickel and roasted malt. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base, roasted malt, pumpernickel and burned caramel. A little low in carbonation with some bitterness in the finish. Lovely. 291108
