Bottled. A deep red beer with a thick tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and very malty with strong notes of caramel and alcohol as well as medium notes of bread, leading to a dry alcoholic and bitter finish. The alcohol tickles.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear orangey brown with a tall, dense, beige head that leaves some lacing. Distinct aroma of pumpernickel and roasted malt. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base, roasted malt, pumpernickel and burned caramel. A little low in carbonation with some bitterness in the finish. Lovely. 291108

Bottle, thanks Pivnizub. Milk chocolate and light green wood aroma. Ruby brown, creamy brown head. Very chocolaty entry, a hint burned spongecake, berries in booze follow later, good aromatic hop profile to balance, chocolate stays with us al the way. Creamy texture, fullbodied. Good dessertbeer!
