Bottled. Deep brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts. Flavour is chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts. Not as chocolateish as the other KjaerStrup Chokolade by Svaneke.

Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. Black colour with thin tan head. Bit too strong on the alcohol. The ethanol is just a bit too obvious. Bit too much of everything. The heat on the end kills all the flavours. Bit too out of balance. It says on the site, serve in an English pint. If I had an English pint of this, I’d probably give up beers stronger than 4%.

Bottle at Chris_o pre GBBF Shindig 08. Black, some ruby. Thin beige. Good bitter choc aroma. It’s an ok choccy beer, again, just lacks some body. It’s ok, I guess, decent.

Black with a medium beige head. Aroma had burned malt, chocolate and coffee notes, vanilla, wood and sourish notes. Flavour was sourish with burned malt, wood, vanilla, coffee, liquorice and hints of bourbon. Finished sweet and sourish.

Black with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, bourbon and coffee notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon and coffee notes. Mild smoke notes. Warming alcohol in the end.

semi-strong nice aroma. hard to describe. sawdust, yeast, citrus. something like that. looks slightly unclear yellow with middlesized white head. flavor is a surprise. same as flavor. sawdust, yeast citrus. strange flavor. what i call sawdust is actually some hint of some sweet stuff. can’t describe it. more special and strange than good.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy orangey golden with a creamy off-white head. A little caramel in the nose combined with fat Bamberg smoke. Medium body with lightly sweet fruit, some yeast and then again fairly distinct smoke accents. The finish is dry with a very discreet bitterness. Quite interesting and surprisingly daring. 290708

Hazy golden colour with a white fluffy head.Aroma is fruity and light smoked mild and hopy with sweet flavor.

Bottled:
Pours clear amber with a creamy head. Sweetish hoppy peach- and pine aroma. Flavour is...well, piney, hoppy resinous pine. Maybe a bit one dimensional but still quite tasty.
