66 cL bottle and on tap. Tap better than the bottled. Pours with off-white head. Red-brown colour. Tastes of malt, spicy notes and alcohol. Complex and lasting aftertaste. Really great christmas beer that goes very well with traditional danish christmas lunch.

33cl bottle. Pours semiclear and golden. White head. Clear smell of hops. Has the classic GB flavour hidden beneath a mixture of sweetness and bitterness while there are a lot of weak notes of malt and hops. Tastes mainly like a pilsner rather than a christmas beer - clearly a lighter attempt at a christmas beer. Far from as good as it’s one year older brother Jingle Ale.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, amber golden with a tiny, off-white head. Fresh and fruity aroma with a fat edge of hops. Quite full-bodied with notes of caramel and wood. Distinctly bitter and alcoholic finish. Fortunately a lot softer and more pleasant than the base beer "Barley Brew". 281006

Bottle. Cherry red color with a steady creamy head. Bready hoppy aroma. Full-bodied, toffeish, bitter, very alcoholic, some hops (cascade) and coffee notes. Long sweetish and alcoholic aftertaste.

clear amber copper with white head. Fine lacings on the side of the glass. Aroma of malts ( caramel) & spices. Medium sweet taste from malts - little vinous feel. Warmth from alcohol. Ok filling body. Fine bitter dry finish!

Draught at Horsens Beerfestival. Clear, pale golden with a small, white head. Lemon, hops and some vague notes of tobacco in the aroma. The flavor is fruity and limey with some hops and grass. Thin body. Did not suit my taste. (061028)
