Draught. Very citric hop aroma with a bit of spice. Very cloudy pale orange colour. Small stable head. Citric hoppiness to flavour. Good bitterness with an astringent aftertaste which gets quite rough.

Nut brown with very little white head. By appearance this looks boring but overall this is actually alright. The cascade hops makes this very pleasant - bitter, though its the only thing you can smell and taste. Finish is quite good, but again it could need a shot of something!

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Spicy fruity aroma with some hints of yeast and coriander. Sweet malty spicy flavor. Long sweet spicy aftertaste.

Bottle. Fruity aroma, a bit farty. Black colour, big rocky brown head. The flavour is also fruity, and OK nice. Slight coffee aftertaste and also a little citricity. A bit more watery than expected.

Draught. Spicy aroma, anis, coriander, all that stuff. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small head. Spicy and citric flavour. Good mouthfeel. Aftertaste is a little watery, but all in all a good beer.

(Bottle 66 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a handsome, off-white head leaving small laces. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with some roasted malt and notes of alcohol. A lightly bitter finish. This really was no thrill - and it really hasn’t got the strength or the character of a Doppelbock. 270506
