Bottle. Fruity aroma, a bit farty. Black colour, big rocky brown head. The flavour is also fruity, and OK nice. Slight coffee aftertaste and also a little citricity. A bit more watery than expected.

Bottle. Pours a hazy colour with a white head. Sweet malty and grassy aroma with hints of citrus. Sweet malty flavor with hints of citrus. Has malty aftertaste with some bitterness.

Draught. Spicy aroma, anis, coriander, all that stuff. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small head. Spicy and citric flavour. Good mouthfeel. Aftertaste is a little watery, but all in all a good beer.

(Bottle 66 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a handsome, off-white head leaving small laces. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with some roasted malt and notes of alcohol. A lightly bitter finish. This really was no thrill - and it really hasn’t got the strength or the character of a Doppelbock. 270506

(On tap) Pale golden with a rather small, white head. Refined, citrusy and somewhat herbal nose. Surprisingly light body considering the alcohol. Lightly sweet, spicy and herbal flavours. Discreet hoppiness. 190506

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Copper colour, no head. Cardamom aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel Some toffee before a short resiny finish. Not an attention grabber.

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear amber. Sweet and mildly malty with medium body and notes of banana, but caramel dominates. A straightforward, fairly pleasant beer with low bitterness.

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Cloudy dark yellow, creamy head. Yeasty aroma of minerals, grain, orange and almonds. Sweet and soft, yet firm with plenty of orange. Drier finish with some herbal spices. Really good!

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Hazy pale brown. Malt dominated aroma. Sweet and full bodied with harsh salty flavour profile. The alcohol is well hidden in the raw sweetness, but so are the flavours. Medium bitterness.
