16oz can from Brewers Haven. Near black pour, skin of beige head. Mildly sweet aroma, balanced roasty malts and chocolate. Taste picks up on the whiskey barrel notes, dark, soft bitter chocolate, light sweetness, boozy accents near the finish. A little bit more chocolaty than a schwarzbier, but it really works.

On draft at the Uinta pub terminal B SLC. Pours a hazy straw with an off white head. Aromas are grapefruit and dank hay. Flavors are bitter citrus.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Pale, Hazy golden, sparse head. Aroma is pineapple extract, hard candy. Taste doesn't improve with more fruit candy flavors that fade away quickly. Oily.

Pint can from the Boise Co-Op. Light golden pour with a large white head. Sour watermelon aroma along with some tropical fruit mustiness. The taste is watermelon sour, but more like cough syrup than it should be. Makes you pucker, but not in a good way. I agree with Craig it’s not infected.. probably would have skipped this if I had done my homework.

Can 0.355l. Lightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- spicy and herbal noble hops, malt, touch of citrus. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, noble hops, malt, yeast. Medium bodied. Nice kölsch.
