Bottle from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours dark brown/black with a moderate creamy beige head. Aroma of peppermint and dark malt. Med body or so. Flavor is peppermint, chocolate, simple dark malt. Kind of like a cookie of some sort. Dryish. Just a touch of sugar. Peppermint stands in for bitter. Well done.

Pours lightly hazy gold with a small white, lingering head. The aroma is full of guava with some mint in the background. The flavor is lightly tart with lots of guava and yes, mint, which seemed more obvious as it warmed. Quite enjoyable.
