Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small, off-white head and a clear copper body. Aroma of wheat, cinnamon, and allspice. Taste is wheat and toast like a Marzen with a touch of spice. Fizzy and lightly dry mouthfeel.

12 fl oz bottle, XIV. Pours clear and golden amber with a diminished light tan head. Smooth hoppy and nice caramel malty aroma, very inviting. Smooth wooden hops, caramel and light spiced flavoured. Smooth and delicate mix, very tasty. Smooth caramel and solid hoppy finish.

Tap - hazy, dark gold beer - a little bit of soapy lace - aroma of banana/strong phenols, wheat, honey, apple - medium body, fairly smooth in the mouth - fairly sweet, with a lot of phenolic character that almost takes over the beer - thankfully, more depth develops to make it less noticeable - there is some wheaty tang, honey sweetness, bready character, cloves - it dries out a bit late, and some grassy hops come out, but remain understated - decent - certainly much better than it’s rating suggests.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Vintage XIV. Clear warm amber golden with a dense and creamy beige head leaving laces. Fat aroma of burned caramel and spicy hops. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base of caramellish malts and overripe fruit. Distinct bitterness in the finish. 201008

Bottle at R.F.D., Washington DC, as XV Anniversary
Mahogany color. Aroma of caramel and old wood, solid. Strong body structure, with very good sweet caramel flavor, not syrupy, and with a strong bitterness. The final is well balanced between medium sweet caramel and the bitterness. Not very complex, but enjoyable.

Bottle courtesy of JJPM74: Poured a golden color wheat ale with a pure white light bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of light wheat malt with some notes of orange peel and coriander. Taste is also dominated by light wheat malt with some light coriander and orange peel notes also discernable. Body is just too thin and carbonation too low for the style. This won’t be a memorable experience apart from the fact that this is my first Utah beer.
