Draft at the source. Poured a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is nice light crisp apple notes, with some balanced hop and malt notes - some light pine and citrus with sweet malt. Touch of vanilla bean notes. Flavor is light spiced apple, mostly light earthy and pine hop character. Touch of vanilla bean. Brewery is starting to give Tired Hands a run for it’s money with pretentious and slightly obnoxious beer names.

Draft at the source. Poured a medium-dark, clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma was distinct notes of Indian spices - peppercorn, cloves, cardamom. Very interesting. Flavor was the same Indian spice notes, masala. Selling point on this one was the aroma, the flavor is interesting, but needs something else, heat or something to give it a leg up over their other offerings.

Draft at the source. Poured a medium-dark, clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma was mostly cold-pressed coffee, some residual resin notes, pine, but coffee all the way. The look of this does not convey the idea that there is coffee aromas or flavors in this - so congrats on creating a deceptive looking beer. Nice light sweetness, a touch of roast coffee, not overpowering for someone who likes the occasional hipster coffee. It’s okay, but the selling point here is really the aroma.

12 ounce draft at Adroit Theory poured into a tulip/Belgian snifter. Also a 3 ounce draft poured into a mini-snifter before that. Pours dark brownish black with light tan head and decent lacing. Aromas of caramel, candied bacon, syrup. Tasting notes of caramel, subtle bacon, light smoke, dark fruit, syrup. Medium body with a dry and lightly warm finish. Medium-low carbonation. Pretty interesting, apparently they’re aging some in rye whiskey barrels so that’ll be fun to try.

3 ounce draft (Ghost 031) at Adroit Theory poured into a mini snifter. Consumed on 3/29/2014. Pours dark golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, wood. Tasting notes of citrus, pine, wood, resin, grapefruit peel. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, semi-juicy mouthfeel. Pretty interesting Imperial IPA. Also tried another 3 ounces but with custom-made bleu cheese foam they put on top of the beer, giving it an interesting taste. 8/4/8/4/16

Draft at the source (Ghost 035). Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was light smoked malts, some light peat, heat from barrel - rye spice notes round out this one. Flavor was light boozy notes - perhaps felt stronger than advertised due to barrel process, light smoked malts. Pretty easy to drink.
