Tasting notes of honey, sweet fruit, citrus, syrup, resin. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, sticky syrupy mouthfeel. 8/4/8/4/16

Draft at the source. Poured a ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of sweet notes, some light grain, tropical notes. Fresh and pretty enjoyable, sweet notes. Fresh and pretty drinkable. Liked!

Draft at the source. Poured a pitch black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was immediate booze, dried fruits, bold stout notes. Flavor was nice totally roasted malts, some toasted character, booze and a very touch of light fruits. Easy sipping.

draft at the source. poured a totally black color with a small light tan head. aroma is smooth malts, nice slightly citrus hops, some light floral and a touch of earth. Flavor was light bitter chocolate malt, some light roast malts. Chocolates. Smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is mostly hidden in this one. Very enjoyable.

12.7oz bottle-trade with hopscotch thanks!-very few lt brown bubbles-black. A-brandy, dk fruit-raisin/plum/cherry, dk malt-roasty, wood/nutty. T-brandy, dk malt-roasty/some molasses, earthy hops, dk fruit-rasin/plum/cherry, wood.

375ml bottle (Ghost 013) pulled directly out of shipping box waiting for me tonight after work and poured into my 3 Stars anniversary snifter. Poured a very dark, virtually pitch black color, small tan head quickly dissipates, but remains a tan wisp on top. Aroma is brandy notes, with some dark fruits and some caramelized notes that remind me a bit of soy. Flavor is woody, with plenty of oak. A touch thinner than I expected, but alcohol is certainly there. Some roasted character, touch of coffee and brandy. Sipping on it. EDIT: Better as it warms, the beer is opening up a bit, brandy, alcohol, some light hazelnut.

Bottle (Ghost 013) poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours jet black with a finger tan head. Big brandy on the nose with molasses, oak, caramel, dark fruit. On the taste, huge brandy and oaky notes with wood, roast, coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruit. Warm finish with a lingering roastiness.
