500ml bottle from Spotty Dog Cider Farm. Pours clear gold, thin fizzing head. Light caramel apple aroma. Taste is fizzy with sweet creamy vanilla. Not too much apple fruit coming through, whatever’s there is masked by a high carbonation and very dry finish.

500ml bottle picked up from Spotty Dog Cider Farm, Wadebridge. Pours clear gold with a sweet pear drops aroma. Mouthfeel is oily with no discernible sparkle. Taste is sweeter than expected with more pear drops, sugar, green apple and core. Very much a ’real’ cider but lacking a touch of dryness to balance it out.

500ml bottle from Spotty Dog Cider farm. Pours hazy gold, with a fruity dessert apple aroma. Taste is bright, medium-dry & bittersharp. Nicely balanced with a comforting fruitiness and firm dry finish. Not bad at all.
