Description
Alpha Delta Brewing was established in September 2019 in Newcastle Upon Tyne by Ross Holland. With over 5 years of brewing experience behind him, Ross decided to create something BIG. In October, Aether and Aion were released as the first two big seasonal beers to kick Alpha Delta off. Now he plans to release even more incredible big beers. Very exciting times.

Can from Honest Brew. Hazy golden body with a huge white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of rhubarb and raw potato. Flavour of envelope seal and musty lemon. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. I was excited about this but the flavour is weird and dull/muted. I couldn’t finish it.

Can from Honest Brew. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon, grass and coriander. Flavour of salted cracker, lemon and minerals. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and savoury. Without looking at the label, I’d swear there was noble hops in this, as it’s very grassy overall.

Can sourced from Beerdome - very hazed to opaque yet glowing yellow to orange coloured pour with a foamy creamy white head. Robust juicy fruity with notes of grapefruit and pineapple, tangerine, lemon, medium sweet offset with a touch of bitter citrus peel, smooth soft mouthfeel and medium body, solid hoppy finish. First beer from this new brewery for me, promising.

Draught Looks like thick pressed pineapplejuice with a medium, dense whipped eggwhite head. Dry hops, fruity esters, hopbales, artichoke, peach, nectarine aromas. Bitter(ish) - diary hints; vegetable & fruity esters; bananapeel notes. Bit burning MF. Yeast- & hopoilslick. Medium carbonation. Not really innovating. B.T.D.T.

Can. Very hazy whitish gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, a biting fine minerally crispness. Slightly thin malts still bring a reasonable sweetness. Fair dose of hop spice. Cooling piney hops. Right, I know what Bru-1 tastes like so what does this new hop Callisto's, taste like? Well not too sure really. There is y bright tropical fruits vibe here but fairly subsumed by a flinty spicy minerally hop thing, some bitterness. What's left after that? Light touches of peach and pineapple. Light crisp flinty spicy finish. Hmmm. A good beer in here somewhere, somewhat masked by an overly tangy flinty vibe. Perhaps trying to hard to be a NE IPA.
