Cask @ The Colmore, Birmingham with Rich, Craig and John. Misty deep gold appearance, good white head. Floral sweet aroma. Moderate hop character to taste, gentle sweetness, lightly fruity, balanced bitter close. Decent straightforward pale.

Can shared with Barbara at The Hive Crowthorne, 22nd April 2023. Pours a thinnish, brown orange. Atoma is berry fruits, lime. Taste is tart, Berries, some hint of sweetness and more sour limes, hides the abv, refreshing, maybe on a hot day, it’s alright

Cask at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt and yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, light, slightly watery, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the Head of Steam, Birmingham. The aroma is yeast, peachy citrus. The flavour is moderate sour, with a crisp, fresh, light, yeasty, peachy citrus palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours chrome yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just hints of citrus and grains. Citrus and grains again in the mouth, but the outstanding feature is the bitterness. Some hints of melon and berry fruits too. Later some sweetness creeps in, leading to a dry finish. I’m not at all sure about this one…
