Pours jet black colour with a medium beige head. Good retention. Aroma is dried fruits, molasses, soft wood and liquorice. Taste is also dried fruits and liquorice with a nice tobacco and wood addition. Leading to a very smooth finish.
Next one please!

Hazy orange, big frothy head. Juicy aroma of mango and grapefruit. Moderately juicy with orange notes offset partly with additions of oats and wheat to make a smooth and slightly heavier body than you get with some session IPAs. A very mild bitterness in the finish. Its ok, pleasant, but lakes a bit of flavour for this style.

Keg at BD Clerkenwell. Sweet fruity malty aroma. Dark cola brown. Frothy beige head just forms a ring. Sour edged sweet berries. Some coffee light bitterness appears into the finish. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Flat carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Doesn't so much for me. It's there, yeah. Just didn't do it for me.

Black beer, off white head. Rich aroma of anise, molasses, dried fruit. Flavour has the dried fruit with the anise up front, a little chocolate, toasty malt, some toffee in the background. Lovely, rich stout.
