Can. Light haze on this gold amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth and slightly soft malts, mildly sweet. Ripe orchard fruits with a little dry spice and a whisper of lemondrop loveliness, nowhere near enough unfortunately. Light esters merge in to something like candy fruits but then there is a rapid switch to bitterness on the smooth and abrubt finish. Interesting beer in as much as it is all over the shop without ever being obnoxious. Something of cacophony taste wise then, but not every cacophony is unlistenable. This one certainly is. Amusing and eyebrow raising.

Can. Lemondrop, Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, Mosaic and Motueka hops. Hazy gold beer, a good white head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Thin malts with an okay sweetness. The Lemondrop is immediately obvious with a thin but interesting lemon and lemon sherbet. Hard to pick out the other hops, Motueka maybe, some floral presence. Light finish. Easy drinking. Would not have bovvered about this other than it had Lemondrop drops. They rock.

Proper fizzy pour, looks like coke with a frothy beige head and has a mild roasted coffee aroma. Taste has a good mix of roasted malt offering coffee, dark fruit and perhaps some chocolate, with some hop bitterness going on

Can bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Very dark brown with a full fluffy tan head. Dark chocolate, light notes of whisky, some salt liquorice, plum. Tastes is sweet and light for the ABV, with the rum from the barrel aging remaining in the background as opposed to overtaking the character. Some bitterness in the finish with more liquorice, date and smoke. Silky mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. This is special.

[#3.533 Global - #402 England - #1 Round Corner Brewing (My English Brewery #155)]
Pours jet black colour with a medium beige head. Good retention. Aroma is dried fruits, molasses, soft wood and liquorice. Taste is also dried fruits and liquorice with a nice tobacco and wood addition. Leading to a very smooth finish.
Next one please!
