Description

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Wheaty aroma with lemon. Thin and sharp, slightly perfumed. Citrus in the flavor with flowery hops. Wheaty. Earthy oily bitter aftertaste. Definitely not a pilsener, not flawless, but certainly drinkable.

33cl Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Hazy orange colour, big white head. Aroma of overripe tropical fruits, sweet malts and yeast. Flavour is sweet, a bit cloying, overripe tropical fruits, apple, esters, bready malts, yeast, firm bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, overcarbonated. Not really enjoyable.

33cl Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Reddish black colour with a beige head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, fruity, yeast, mocha. Flavour has the same features, tastes like a Belgian stout but with a firm roasted bitterness and good mocha flavours. Soft smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied. I liked this one a lot.

Bottle @ home. Amber color, cloudy. Melon and a touch of yeast in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with melon, yeast, just a touch of alcohol and perfume. Decent, but there is room for improvement.

Bottle @ home. Orange blonde color, pours a huge head. Malty sweet flavor with melon, pineapple and a hint of earthy hops. The alcohol is hidden by the sweetness. Lacks some character.

Bottle @ home. Orange color, pours a huge head. Grassy, earthy hops in the aroma. Grassy, earthy yeasty flavor with hints of red berries. Yeasty, almost annoying aftertaste. With some minor changes in recipe this would be a fine beer.

Bottle. Orange blonde, cloudy, tiny chunks of yeast. Very soft lemon aroma, surprising for such a strong beer. Malty, alcoholic flavor with lemon. Velvety but also prickly mouthfeel. Clean and absolutely drinkable, but surprisingly low on aroma and flavor.
