on tap-pours a foamy retaining off white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is sweet malt (and corn?). Taste is sweet malt/grain, secondary light hops-slight spice/lemon. Medium body. Nice.

On tap @ the Stone World Bistro. Pours a deep reddish amber with lasting tan head and sheet lacing. Very nice looking brew. The aroma is both sweet and roasty mixed with hay, pears, prunes and blueberries. The taste has a great combination of roasty malts and sweeter caramelized malts. Yum. I also get some melodeon malts and a bit of biscuit mixed with mild pine hop bitterness. There’s an added note of fruity esters that runs through the taste experience creating pears, prunes and honeydew. Interesting.

Bottle shared by artusory. Hazy copper body, medium cream/off-white head. Piney, rindy hops nose, bitter, pulpy but not too sweet. Big tangerine. Sugared tangerine body, very bitter, with an astringent finish. I’ve never sampled a beer with so much tangerine. The bitterness becomes astringent and overbearing over time.

Bomber pours a deep gold with inch and a half big bubbled off white head. The aroma has a nice load of malt sweetness backed up by an even bigger grapefruit hop note. Just like the aroma a tasty combination of sweet maltiness and both grapefruit hop bitterness and flavor enter all at once. Toward the finish a sweeter orange juice hop flavor stands out and into the after taste the bitterness builds and lingers. There’s a slight sense of the 8.5% ABV.

Bomber consumed at The Local in San Diego cause the tap selection was weak. Pours clear deep gold with impressive lumpy-pillowy white head. Medium nose of mild sweet malts and citrus hops. The taste has some nice malty sweetness mixed with the more dominant citrus hops like orange rind and grapefruit. The hop profile moves into more of a pineapple note approaching the finish. Nice IPA balanced between hops and malts, leaning more into hops.

Bomber. Strong caramel aroma. Accompanied by something that does indeed suggest soy sauce. Well soy sauce is fermented, so why not. Deep amber color with a decent, but departing, beige head. Seems a bit thin bodied. Mild, creamy carbonation. It’s got that red roast malt flavor. The malt is strong, and there is very little hop to balance it. There is bitter around the edges, and at the finish after the malt drains off. No question that it is an amber ale. It is flavorful. Just very sweet.

Bomber. Light aroma of sweet fruit and noble hop. Light pale gold color with a fine white head. It looks like a pale lager. Medium bodied; near creamy carbonation. It is pilsener hop bitter, and there is light fruity flavor. It seems well balanced, but it’s very different. The finish is not quite dry, and it has a very nice amount of bitter. Got a hit of heat at the end. It may not be exciting, but it is very interesting and drinkable.

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet and super hoppy combined with notes of grapefruit - the aroma a bit cloying. The flavor is sweet spicy - especially coriander, combined with strong notes of grapefruit. I find the body a bit on the thin side.

An unclear red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet spicy combined with a nice hoppyness. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.
