cloudy pale white golden color. Smells like freshly crushed apples. Low tannins, not a ton of skin. Fairly dry, crisp, palate with solid carbonation, nice honey and apple jam likes taste, but not amazing depth. Finishes abruptly. Pleasant and the more I drank the more it grew on me. Slightly warming finish and the apple jam character lingers. I gotta say I keep become more and more of a fan. I am wrapping my head around this now

medium dark golden color. Nice mint, citrus and Muscat nose but the palate is a bit med. not enough bitterness for the body. Easy drinking, crowd pleaser for sure but not a big fans nose is great though.

Cloudy golden color. Lots of citrus and a touch of stone fruit in the nose. Somewhat dank and a bit juicy. Low medium carbonation and medium bitterness. Dusty hop character with slight hop burn. Palate is a bit thin - I am seeing a theme with these guys. Bitterness is fairly harsh. Not overly interesting.

Cloudy medium golden color with thin white head. Musty nose with the chardonnay barrel being picked up at the start and prominent Belgian yeast, citrus a touch of white peaches. Low medium carbonation, wine barrel dominates up front and I am noticing some booziness - which I shouldnt for the abv and style. Body is a bit too thin and flabby, it didnt stand up to the barrel. This beer has so much potential, but falls apart on the palate.

Tap at Komachi. Deep amber to medium brown--wasn't expecting that. Nose is sakuramochi (pickled cherry leaves), cherry, chocolate, caramel. Big sakura leaf flavor, nice rich malt, well balanced. A pleasant surprise that they used a dunkel as the base.

It’s an ipa! Quite nice fruitiness. Would like to try again when I haven’t been caning it. Not so bitter. Bit of tropical liltiness. Good!

Tap at Japan Brewers Cup 2020. Hazy pale gold color with lace. Refreshing citrus nose, biscuits. Sweet wheaty malt flavor, tropical fruit, juicy orange. Smooth, juicy and wheaty. Light prickly finish. Nice.

Tap at Japan Brewers Cup 2020. Almost clear medium golden color, low head. Nose is dry thin malt, some citrus and tropical fruit from the hops. Flavor is the usual brutish bubblegum funk along with some durian. Hate this style.
