From a pint can. Pours a hazy straw with an off white head. Aromas of pine. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus with plenty of caramel malt to sweeten things up.

What do I say - a fine example of a beer style that isn't very good to begin with?

Very nice easy drinking beer. Aromas are good fresh grapefruit hops with a little bit of resin and sweat. Flavors are like nose, a little sweet up front, with just right carbonation and bitterness to balance. Great body and finish. Could easily have more of these.

Can (9/22/20) from Fort Point Market. It's a deeply hazy mahogany/dark brown with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is darkened wheat toast, toffee, light tart fruit. Taste is strong toffee with dark fruit and background brown bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, pretty much exactly as advertised.

Can at home. Just a random grab. Clearing dirty gold and frothy head. My daughter saw and yelled “soap”. Nos was citrusy and gassy. Tastes of mango, oranges, florals, grassy, kiwi. Fluffy soft palate. Tasty.
