In 2015 Achilles became part of Caupona bvba (of the Prik & Tik stores in Heist-op-den-Berg and Herselt). The brewery is now called ''Brouwerij Serafijn.'' That is the new company in Heist that houses the Serafijn beers. The former microbrewery in Itegem has been dismantled.
The beer is now brewed at the Pirlot brewery in Zandhoven.

Copper color; beautiful, rocky head; Belgian lace. Very nice, hoppy aroma, with some fruitness (most of all hop flowers). Smooth, very spicy, dry malt, good hop line (lovely hop flowers!); dry caramel at the end, when the bitterness comes out a bit more. Long and strong final. Excellent!

A hazy orange beer with a dense white head. The aroma is very sweet with light notes of wheat. The flavor is lovely spicy with a dry wheaty background.

Muddy blond color. Nice malty aroma, dry and spicy. Dry, spicy, light body, light fudge flavor. Warm and a bit alcoholic. Average palate. Original and quite good.

A hazy dark orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of caramel, coriander and overripe fruits. The flavor is of plums, fruits combined with the alcohol running over the tongue. The end is dry and filled with coriander.

[ZBF 2004] An unclear yellow beer with a fine disappearing head. It has a fine sweet wheat aroma. The flavor is also sweet wheat combined with notes of orange peel. The body is somewhat thin - but it is a nice beer.

(I edited this to witbier, as the brewery insists on calling it such. It has not the usual witbier characteristics)Chromate yellow, white head, collapsing. Faint malty nose, whiff of "herb" hops. VERY malty taste, even some coloured malt. Finish is strangely almondy, marzipan, and bitter. Appropriate light mouthfeel. Long bitter aftertaste. A very nice beer for a "licht". It tastes a bit like a top-fermenting pilsener.

Bottled. Muddy pale orange. Sweet and peppery with notes of melon. Clean, fairly hard malt profile. Am I imagining the chili burn?

The aroma is very sweet distinct fruity with notes of papaya, yeast, and chestnuts. The color is between orange and amber and even though I poured it very carefully slightly hazy. It has beutiful huge off-white head though collapsing. The flavor is somewhat thin compared to the aroma and the alcohol content. The flavor contains notes of corriander and other undistinquisable spices though not any I'd like in a beer - which makes it rather weird. This is not a beer for me.

An unclear orange beer. The aroma is spicy with notes of cloves. The flavor is of cloves, wheat malt and rather perfumated. An OK beer.
