$4.99 can from Total Wine in Gainesville, VA. Pours dark brown, not even close to black, with a small beige head. Aroma is light brewed coffee, bitter almonds. Flavor is cocoa, coffee, bitter almonds, chocolate. Kinda plain. Hides the alcohol well.

Draft: Hay nose. Clear golden, medium head, good lace. Hay, husky grain, grass. Medium body, easy carbonation. Lagery but good.

$8.99 bomber, Beer Run. Pours hazy golden with a yellowish head. Aroma is honey, bread, yeast, banana, dried flowers. Flavor is glue, yeast, banana, spice, caramel, dried flowers, alcohol. Lots of carbonation.

12 oz can poured into a tulip. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, burnt roasty notes, vanilla. Tastes of malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, roasty notes, some vanilla. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Decent, a bit too much on the vanilla/dark fruit flavors.

Pink coloured body with a light cloud of rose and a small head that fades like soda. Aroma of funky lactose, light alcohol, fruit, sugars, grain, malt liquor and a good deal of strawberries, mostly fake though. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong strawberry flavour with a large and pungent malt and lactose note with some residual alcohol, a larger dash of earth and funky grain notes near the end. Aftertaste shows the pungent lactose, good deal of grain and assertive funk and ends with a lot of strawberry notes that are a little more fresh tasting than the smell. Overall, a decent, if that, beer that shows pretty funky, astringent and quite bitter at first that doesn't quite hit the mark throughout, but at least somewhat inventive, given the already crowded beer landscape. Not a horrible beer, but not really worth trying to find. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 10-January-2018 for US$3,49 sampled on the train from Washington to New York on 23-February-2018.

Medium copper with a white head. Tropical fruit notes, pine, caramel comes on a little when it warms. Medium to full body. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, fruity malt, wheat. Medium body, yeast, peach, wheat, light dry finish, good.
