Description
Nine Giant started with a simple question: “What would make the ultimate taproom experience?” For us, the answers were pretty easy. Constant evolution of hand-crafted beers. Scratch-made food, sourced from the highest quality ingredients. A smaller, more intimate environment. And a glistening wall of blue subway tile.

Draft at brewery. Very pale with a hazy. Aroma to me was all cucumber and acidity. I was surprised at learning it had key lime. It's mostly lost in the acidity or adds to it. Maybe some cream flavor at the end of flavor. Gimmicky but fun for my tastes.

Tulip glass draft at Nine Giant Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a ruby red orange with a limited white head. The aroma is fresh cranberries along with a lemon tart sourness. The taste is the same clean fresh cranberry, paired with the lemon citrus tart sourness of the nose. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a dry tart crisp finish. Easy drinking, very nice.

Half Tulip glass draft at Nine Giant Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a hazed brown with a smallish off white head. The aroma is strong roast, smoky tobacco and grass. As the beer warms, roast trends towards char. The taste has the grass, fast followed by the roast char malt, with tobacco in the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral roast char bone dry finish. Lots of flavor for the 3.8% abv this was listed at. Well executed.
