Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. A pretty clean reddish orange pour. Soda fizz head that slowly fades. It is no secret that the strawberry is here. Dominant, but real strawberry. Doesnt come off as syrupy or anything. Fresh feel. Kinda reminds me of the strawberry crisp wafers you buy at the grocery store. Packed with the vanilla ones. Now. Add vanilla to this beer.. who knows. Really good strawberry blonde, and adds much improvement to the base in my opinion. Enjoyed this.

12oz can pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is grassy hops some light crackers and spice. Taste is more of the nice light hops grassy earthy notes and some cracker malts.

Draft pour, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. A dark red, almost brown pour, but very clean. Almost no head here. Huge toasty aroma. Borders being smokey. Toast heavy malt aroma and flavor here. Bold malt linger. A bit of a nutty character as well. A bit of a one sided red for my taste, but the malt flavor that is here isn't bad. Not something I would typically drink a full pint of though. Gotta be in the mood for this one.

12 oz can poured. A nice, light and refreshing blonde ale to pair with the winter sun. Good times. Clean and clear golden orange pour. Some bready malts present in both aroma and flavor, and it's the headlining feature. Easy drinking, and refreshing, and has a decent amount of flavor. Not bad!

Draft pour pint at Malt and Vine. A bit of a dank aroma to this. A mostly clean golden pour. Oily head with sticky lacing. Bold hop content. Some metallic going on. Earthy malt underneath a bitter hop. Light flavor in this session. A bit watered down. A bit on the plain side. This wasn't bad, but it didn't do much for me overall. A plain session IPA is what I got. Better than a lot of offerings I've come across though. UPDATE: Found a 12 oz can of this, and gave it a deserved retry. Enjoyed this a lot more the second time around. A nice melon like hop profile came through. Still a nice sessionable IPA with an interesting single hop showcase.

My understanding is that this beer was recently re-tooled, which compared to the previous rates would make sense. Black with a deep brown and thick head. Medium roasted malt, chocolate, some sweet caramel, slight dark fruits in the finish. Comes across as a sweeter Impy that leans slightly introductory. Still, it’s enjoyable.

22 oz bottle poured. Picked this bottle up down at a bottle shop in Tacoma, for less than $5. Love these finds! It seems like a ton of these South Sound crafts don’t make it out of town, which is a shame. An IPA like this would do well in Seattle. A golden pour with not much head, but what’s there, lasts. A piney hop aroma. Inviting. Flavor is soft citrus, melon fruit, sweet malts, and a late grapefruit reminder. Has a slight metallic note in there, but it’s not enough to deter. Late bitterness battled by a juicy grapefruit. Expected a plain, boring IPA, for one reason or another, and was pleasantly surprised with this one. Flavorful, very tasty. Throw this in a six pack of cans, and I’m all over it.

Very deep copper with a tall white head. Full sweet malt profile with plenty of hops in the back. There really isn’t much to say here. Hops are mostly bitterness and covered by a hefty malt profile. Meh.

Draught at Beveridge Place Pub
Black color. Some chocolate in the aroma, but mild. For the style, is a bit weak and dry; it equally mixes roasted malts and chocolate, it’s a bit too acidic, and it doesn’t get much from the hops.
Nice beer, rather mediocre Imperial Stout.

Draft at BPP. Imperial stout, you could have fooled me. Super light beer, won’t even know its a stout if it weft for the color. I feel like I am drinking mineral water with a light malt aftertaste. No roast, no sweetness, no heft or anything. Just nothing. I feel like this beer literally watered down.
