On tap at Bolt brewery in Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego. Orange red pour. Small beige head. Sweet toasted malt aroma hints at caramel. Flavor is bittersweet, toasted malt and spicy hops. Notes of caramel, rye malt and pine. Lots of flavor and complexity. Decent.?

On tap at Bolt Brewery, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dusty cocoa upfront, with little else. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry cocoa upfront, and medium toasted malt. Powdered and dry. Not bad.
