Description

300ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready and biscuity, pale and malty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of banana. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, biscuity, pale malty and slightly yeasty fruity, moderately bitter hoppy, hints of banana, a mineral touch, peppery overtones; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly hopped, nevertheless a tad too sweet - OK.

330mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out that classic Belgian yeast ester character, light candi sugar, and gentle champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is bright and nicely carbonated, with a very nice Belgian yeast expression, champagne-like effervescence, very gentle candi sugar, and an assertive carbonation to round it out. Expertly brewed -- not too sweet, and the sweetness that's there is subdued by the carb. Excellent.

Bottle from Delhaize, Ostend, Belgium. A golden/amber coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Sweet, yeasty, fruity, spice taste/aroma. Not overly complex but still an enjoyable Belgian Tripel.

SLightly dark orange/golden pour with a white head. Aromas of citrus, bread/malt, some hops. Taste similar, not to bitter - decent finish. Not bad for an alcohol-free beer.
