Flesje (tht sept. 2020) thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is zeer moutig. Smaak is zoet en fruitig (appel, mandarijn). De appel smaak blijft even hangen om later plaats te maken voor een iets bittere hoppige nasmaak. Ondanks de hoge leeftijd nog altijd goed te drinken.

15/XI/23 - 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn supermarket (Gent), shared @ home, BB: IV/24, 3182528V0809, T07687 (2023-1044)
Clear orange gold beer, nice solid creamy white head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of (over)ripe banana, lots of bubble gum, some esters, bready, wort, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: a bit sweet, lots of overripe banana, bubble gum, gentle bitterness, a bit malty, some caramel. Aftertaste: sweet, bubble gum, a little bitter, a bit sourish, lemony touch, not bad, definitely not great either.

On tap. Pours a mahogany color with full head. Aromas of dark berries, a bit of Belgian yeast, and bready malts. Flavors of metallic dark berries and doughy malts with some creamy Belgian yeast. Heavy.
