Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pale orange colour, no head. Vinegary lime and old butter up front. Syrupy sweetness overrun by puckering citric acid. Old cheese and lime yoghurt. Vinegary, syrupy finish. Artificial.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20260911) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had molasses, grass and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, molasses, caramel, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramel and bitterness. A good malty brew with proper bitterness.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20260911) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had smoke, smoked ham and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, smoked ham, smoke, honey, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste had smoke, biscuits and bitterness. A little bit unbalanced smoked brew.

Canned 05/2026. Hazy yellow color, a large white head and some lacing. The aroma has a peppery spiciness. Fairly light-bodied considering the ABV. The flavor is also quite light, with peach and spiciness. It feels like the beer has already lost its best edge. The esters typical of a wheat beer are missing. Disappointing.

On tap at Juova Hanahuone, Helsinki on 4th September 2026. Crystal clear pale gold with shallow white film and scant lacing. Lush savoury smoky aroma. Generously smoky in-mouth with hints of frankfurters. A finish of woodsmoke, smoked meats and nutty malt with just the hint of citrus. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. I know that my appreciation of this niche beer isolates me from the many, but I found it exquisite.
