BĂĽgelverschluĂźflasche: Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, rather quickly collapsing tanned head; toasty and fruity nose, caramel included, with a distinctive tinge of alcohol; solid sweet flavour, medium bodied; sweet d fruity (dry berries) and caramelly finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not very convincing.....

BĂĽgelverschluĂźflasche: Unclear, copper to amber coloured, firm and creamy off-white head; moderate sweetish-fruity (dried berries) and almost solid caramelly nose with a slight wheaty background; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering caramelly and sourish-fruity finish. A real good Dunkelweizen.......

Not bad, but all in all disappointing......

bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Deep brown colour, large and very persistent off-white head. Caramel in the nose. Full-bodied, malty base, lots of caramel, slightly dry on the palate. A very pleasant experience.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a beige and huge foamy head. Yeasty caramel-malty and slightly toasty aroma with nutty and dried fruity accents, accompanied by mildly spicy phenols. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm and mellow carbonation. Yeasty, cara-malty taste with subtle fruity notes, traces of chestnuts and a mildly spicy touch; medium-dry, caramelly and slightly spicy finish. A well-rounded dark Wheat. 29.IX.10

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, effervescent and pale golden coloured hue with a big but collapsing slightly off-white frothy head. Yeasty and wheat-malty aroma with restrained notes of banana and shy grainy spots, accompanied by slightly mouldy and clovy spicy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty and pronounced wheaty taste with a rather discreet fruit-character and stronger phenolic spices; medium-dry, shy fruity but spicy and clovy finish. A tad too spicy for my liking. 29.IX.10

bottle from biershop-bayern.de. CSlightly hazy amber-golden colour, large off-white head. Malty nose with honey. Medium-bodied, very malty with flavours of honey and vanilla. Shy hoppy finish, smooth carbonation. Yes, this is a goodie!
