Description
Founded in 2008, Camba originally served as showroom for brewery plant manufacturer BrauKon. Markus Lohner, founder of BrauKon and Camba, used the small brewery located in Truchtlaching to demonstrate clients from all over the world what BrauKon brewing equipment could do. With success: Camba soon became one of the first breweries in Germany to brew international beer styles and a pioneer of the German craft beer scene. Can from Bierkiste. Milky pale yellow, big white lacing head. Perfumed flowery and citric aroma. Medium light body. Bubblegum, orange flowers, bergamotte, light cloying perfumed, herbal aromatic finish. Seems to have been made without adjuncts, blind I would totally have guessed it would contain the wit package of spices and herbs. So impressive yeast and hop selection, it is just a little bit much in this instance.

Can at "Johnny's got a new place" beer celebration. A bit pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, decently hoppy, distant plant hints, hoppy bitters. Okay.

Can 44 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a rich, off-white head. Piney and lightly soapy hop aroma. Rich body, very sweet fruitiness - almost sugary with solid, finishing bittering hops. Very old school. Had it only not been so sweet.... 220825
