Bomber from Bine & Vine. Labeled 1st Anniversary 2016. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, dark, dark treacle, and who knows what else. The head spins upon deep inhale. Oh, alcohol too. Full bodied. Flavor is so bourbon, so smooth, dark treacle, so hints of chocolate, so has aspects of date or fig, so... so... so... Wowser. See Naples and die. Drink this and ask for more! It’s not at all dry; it’s very lightly bitter. Yummy stuff.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours orange tinged gold with a white head. Aroma of really dark, dark coffee. Kind of like the Koppe Luwak that pops up once in awhile. Med body. It’s frothy and smooth. Flavor is like coffee and caramel. Real Kraft’s caramel comes to mind. The coffee is rich. The whole thing is smooth. Not really getting much hop, and it’s not very bitter. But it is tasty, rich and smooth. Nothing like I expected. This is amazingly well done.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours coppery gold with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus with a touch of pine, maybe some pale stone fruit, and some barely noticeable caramel. Hop tickle in the nose. Med body at least. Slight hop burn. Flavor is a slightly roasty malt with a lot of citrus/pine on top of it. Given the burn I’m thinking it should be dank, but not coming out for me that way. It is way full of hop and very nicely bitter. As a pursuer of bitterness I like it a lot, and IMHO this is being under rated.

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma that is fruity and has a lot of grapefruitsnad other citrus - Malt body to support a good hop profile that is fruity with grapefruit and other citrus with bitterness - The fruity hops goes into a dry fruity finish - This was good

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma along with some hints of coconut and vanilla - Roasted malt and coconut flavour with some coffee and vanilla notes - The roasted malt and nut goes into the finish - This was good

Pour is a black with almost no head at all. Aroma is a rich roasted malt almost boarding on being burnt. Flavor is a burnt malt with some roast and it leaves a nice char on the tongue. Not rich and thick like some porter’s, this can be a bit watery at times but the roast and char malt are pretty soild.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is equal parts coffee and pine hops. Nothing overpowers to come to the fore front. Flavor is wY more coffee than hop but there is a pine/fruit after the swallow. Finish leaves equal parts bitterness and roasted coffee on th tongue. This was decent, you get what the brewer was going after here.

Pour is a hazy red-ish with a large white head. Aroma is a dank pine hop with some earthy malt. Flavor is pretty much the same. Piney west coast hops with a little bitterness. I get an odd roasted peanut in the aftertaste. It’s not bad again just kind of odd. Pretty straight forward old school west coast IPA.
