Does it look like a real beer? Then no surprise, it doesn’t taste like a real beer ...

Pours pale yellow with a bubbly head. Sickly sweet aroma. Tastes like a stereotypical ultra-light beer. Little bit of honey flavor. No palate. Bought it for the country tick.

Cool bottle, bonus points. Smell - quite weak, hops. Foam - small, white, thin, watery, half watery, some bitterness, some carbonation. Apperance - clear yellow, carbonated. Taste - carbonation, weak bitterness, weak hops, weak sweetness, refreshing and easy drinking. Not bad, but nothing special, OK simple pale lager.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 1/6/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Bit of skunky aromas/flavors, but not overwhelming. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this a good euro pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. This held up pretty great considering the date. Very clean pale malts/grains, and solid earthy hop presence/balance. Not overdone on adjuncts. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Can from a Singapore 7-11. Poured a clear light golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is sweet corn, mineral light hop. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a light, watery, crisp, sweet corn, cardboard yeast, light dry hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nice can but that's where it ends. If I lived in China and this was all that was on offer i'd give up drinking.
