Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a beige head. Toffeeish nose with a whiff of slightly greasy hops. Medium body, toffee and nuts with a chalky, minerally touch. A hint of coffee roastiness and fruit. Lightly bitter finish. Decent. 161221

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a golden with a slight haze and a huge, frothy and lively white head with good retention. Very lively pour. Herbal, slightly medicinal aroma. Thinnish body, fruity, yeasty, medicinal with only faint touches of aroma hops. Hoppy, bitter finish. More British PA than APA. Or actually more of a Saison, to be honest. 161221

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, opaque orangey golden with a huge and fizzy yet quickly dissipating off-white head. Nose is fruity and slightly yeasty, subtle phenols. Medium body, sweet, rich fruitiness, yeasty and slightly spicy with subdued, late hops. Quite ok, especially considering it's a style very rarely done in Germany. 011221

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, golden with a huge, white head. Subtle perfumy nose - perhaps. Medium body, fruity, a little yeasty with a dry and slightly hoppy finish. Don't expect your typical APA hop bomb. 270821
CloakedDagger (37227) reviewed Whisky Roome from Ebbüller Craft Bier 4 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque amber with a dense and lacing off-white head with a good retention. Estery, phenollic nose with a somewhat medicinal touch. Medium body, lowish carbonation - actually feels a little thin - there are some Whisky notes there, but they are fairly muddled. Feels more as if the Whisky was directly infused. Some tannins appear late. A way too weak base beer for this treatment. 240821

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clean amber with a solid, white head with good retention and some lacework. Malty, spicy nose. Medium body, again malty clean, but only slightly darker than a Pilsner and hardly qualifies as a Dunkel. But it's a nice lager - clean and well made, with only a vague, roasty touch. 240821

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a rich, white head. Yeasty nose with subtle banana esters. Medium body, lowish carbonation, typical banana, clove and yeast accents. Hardly any bitterness. A very decent Hefe. 240821
