Description

Dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and dark fruits. Flavour is medium to heavy sweetness, but not too sweet. Unfortunately, I did not pick up any of the promised smoke notes. More like an Abt/Quadrupel than a Barley Wine. Very nice.

Aroma of malts, citrus, caramel, some tropical fruits, sugar. Flavour is substantial fruity sweetness. In fact, very sweet for an IPA, not that hoppy. But tasty just the same.

Aroma of citrus fruits, apricot, orange, yeast, some spices. Flavour is fruity, a little sweetness with a welcome hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Nicely full-bodied. A surprisingly fruity Tripel, better than the current rating suggests.
