Big foamy mediumlasting head, very hazy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, weeds, leafs, moss, hay, flowers, minerals, lawn, light malts, citrus peel, hops, bark, pine needles. Taste is dry floral, weeds, hay, minerals, bark, flowers, harsh citrus peel, moss, soap, paper, harsh hops, lawn, pine needles. Longlasting harsh bitterness, slightly dry floral mouthfeel. Weird.

Shared bottle at yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 08.12.17 and 09.12.17. Clear mahogany amber. Diminishing beige head. Aroma and taste of dried fruits and sweet caramelized malt. Medium low bitterness. A bit waterish and metallic.

Big very white head. Hazy, nearly opaque, pale yellow body with light carbonation. Light floral mealy aroma with hints of juniper. Dry strawy grassy taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry fruity mealy taste with grassy notes. The beer has character, but it's not very harmonic. No actual off flavours, just a combination that doesn't really work for me. Not enough flavour, really. (0.5l bottle, Xmas gift. Batch #42.)

Bottle. A murky light brown beer with a dense finger thick beige head. Malt dominated aroma with a touch of dried fruits. No particular fruityness or hops. Caramel and bread. It's full bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry, with flavors of bread, caramel and dark dried fruits. Long finish. A pleasant beer that works well as Christmas beer. 171223

500ml bottle, batch 50, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Dissipating off-white head. Deep dark brown body with a ruby shade. Spotty lacing. Distant brown malty aroma, slightly roasted. Bread and caramel flavours followed by a mid-sweet roasted ending. Clean in the mouth. Satisfying. (Tromsø 21.12.2017).
