On tap at the brewpub. It pours a light reddish dark brown body and a small, off-white to beige head. Quite roasted aroma, coffee, some chocolate and some roasted bread. Sweet flavour, yet dry on the palate. Full body, pleasant carbonation, and a fine bitterness towards the end. Roasted malts, coffee and some dark chocolate too in the end. A tasteful, pleasant beer that goes well with a dark chocolate cake. Rating: 7-3-7-4-15-3.6. 120906
Bottle. A dark brown beer topped by a dense, finger-thick dark beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is roasted and faintly earthy, with coffee, dark chocolate and some faint bonfire notes. It’s quite dry and hop-bitter on the palate, pleasantly carbonated and with lots of dark flavors. Mostly roasted, coffee-ish finish with a good dash of bitterness. A really pleasant porter with lots of piney hops. 160504

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy one, yellowish golden in colour, topped by a small, white head. The aroma has orange and wheat, lacking a bit on the spicy scents. Medium to full body, quite effervescent, and a bit sweetish on the palate. As the aroma, the flavour lacks a bit on the spiciness. A tad to sweet too, making me think of a German style weissbier, more than of a wit. Still, it’s a decent beer, easy to drink, and tasteful. Rating: 6-3-6-3-12-3.0. 120906

The aroma has the appropriate level of coriander and lemon, with hints of orange peel, and a pleasant generic fruityness. Some impact from the malts too. The flavor is a bit sweet, but it’s not cloying in any way. Coriander, citrus and some bitterness too. Full to medium body, and nicely carbonated. Lightly bitter finish. Overall, a really fine witbier, making me sure the first batch was just an accident. Not that it was bad, but it wasn’t top notch in any way. 121219

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a lightly unclear one, golden in colour, and with a small, white head. A bit weak on the nose, but pleasant. Pale malts, some fruitiness and a pleasant biscuit touch. The flavour too is a bit boring, but after a few sips it gets really pleasant. Pale malts, fruitiness and a fine bitterness. Full to medium body, really smooth and pleasant. Fruity and bitter finish. A very fine pub-beer, drinks easy and tastes nice. 120906
