On tap @ the brewpub. Black body with a moderate sized, lacing tan head. Aroma is totally dominated by coffee, but it smells like really good quality coffee. This is also confirmed by the flavor, this is extraordinary good coffee. The flavor also has dark, roasted malt, dark chocolate, balanced bitterness but the strong and smooth coffee flavor is really dominating here. Full body and long aftertaste with coffee. If You appreciate good coffee, you would love this beer, close to perfection. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxwcQ1dapw8

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy dark golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is not very strong, but rather standard Weiss with banana, citric fruit and spices. Flavor is banana, yeast, citric fruit, some cloves and balanced bitterness, quite sweet as well. Medium body and average aftertaste. A decent quaffable weissbier, but nothing extraordinary going on.

On tap at Melkebaren. It’s a hazy orange colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is resiny and lightly peachy with some malty notes in the back. It’s full bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a nice bitterness all the way. Pine cones, resins and tropical fruits, especially the pine cones lasting for a while. A tasteful and quite refreshing beer I could easily drink a few of every now and then. 140727

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an almost black body and a fingerthick light tan head. Curtains. Lots of coffee on the nose, slightly edgy but rounder than a week ago. Dark chocolate, roasted malts and some piney notes. Coffee dominates the flavor too, some coffee bitterness are present, might be the malts though. Dark chocolate and some hoppy bitterness. Full body with a pleasant carbonation level. Dryish. Lasting finish. A tad too much coffee I think, but sure nice. 140724

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear pale orange colored body and a dense finger thick off-white head. Curtains. Quite a lot of orange in the aroma, with a pleasant scent of banana, bubblegum and clove notes. Resin too. The flavor has an appropriate sweetness, a balancing bitterness and pleasant bubblegum and banana. And of course cloves. It’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated, semi-sweet. Lasting finish. Not your run-of-the-mill weissbier, but sure nice and tasteful. 140719

On tap @ the brewpub. On paper this seems to be just a novelty beer made for the occasion and the group of people hanging around with Gunnfryd. It’s for sure a really weird one, but some it works, could easily have a few of this one – at least fresh. It doesn’t look to delicate, it’s murky, dirty reddish orange almost with no head at all. Almost like a smoothie. Unusually in aroma as well, fresh and fruity with strawberries, raspberries, fruit and green pepper. Flavor feels immediate sweet and fruity, then there is a hot chilly explosion in my mouth, not unpleasant but rather hot and somehow unexpected (even knowing about the chilly). The body feels good and balanced and the aftertaste is a burning sensation. Most of all a funny beer, but actually not just a novelty.
