500 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice beige head. Very nice aroma of strong, roasted dark malt and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, dark, roasted malt with coffee and balanced bitterness. Medium body and long lasting aftertaste. A fine tasting classic stout at relatively low ABV.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big, lacing white head that fades. Aroma has some malt, yeast and a hint of grapefruit that’s a but hidden behind some kind of undefinable fruit. First sip feels refreshing but quickly becomes a bit more strange and lesser refreshing. Plain, strange and unbalanced. Earthy, wet wood, ripe fruit, harsh bitterness. Not particular nice and definitive nothing sessionable about this.

Big offwhite head. Clear coppery body with a single bubble trail. Strong resiny passion fruit aroma with melony notes. Dryish wooden resiny taste with tropical fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden aftertaste with caramelly chalky notes. Quite nice, but doesn’t last all the way home. End is a bit chalky and weak. Still a good beer, though. KRS 040616. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sourness, wheat, citrus. Flavour is sourness, wheat, citrus, lemon, tropical fruit, yeast. OK/Nice beer.

Big white head. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity resiny aroma with salty green notes. Acidic fruity resiny wild berry taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Acidic herbal earthy aftertaste with green grassy notes. Weird, unusual, and somewhat unpleasant. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Strømmen. Batch #042.)

Bottle, bb12.01.17. Pours,very slightly hazy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is light zesty, floral hops with straw and citrusy notes, as well as malts with biscuits and honey. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is zesty hops, with citrus, straw and grassy notes, as well as malts with biscuits and honey. Sweet, although far from cloying. Probably a tad unbalanced, but really quaffable and moreish all the same. Enjoyable!

Medium beige head. Nearly opaque black body shows a hint of hazy dark red. Toasty coffee and red fruit aroma with mealy earthy notes. Dry earthy coffee taste with funky notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy coffee aftertaste with chalky minty notes. Quite nice. Perhaps a little dry and earthy. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Strømmen. Batch #44.)

0.5l bottle from #042. Looks alright this with a golden colored blurry body. On the top there's a nice big almost fluffy white head that's leaving lots of white curtains down the sides of the glass. It smells really good. Sweet, definitely fruity. Banana and apple-drink. Light sour, yogurt and wild berries. Smells really nice. So refreshing and super lightdrinkable. It has a thin oily texture in the mouth, not watery at all despite the abv and it's just above average on the carbonation. Again it has this berry/wild yogurt thing going on in the taste. Mild citrus fruits in the finish. Traces of vanilla also. Really liked this one. 05.08.2016

Bottle. A more or less black body is topped by a diminishing light tan head. Some lacing. It’s heavily roasted, lightly burnt on the nose, with some coffee grit and licorice. Hints of bread crust. It’s medium bodied and mostly on the dry side, with a nice carbonation, although a tad high. There’s a light roasted malts kind of sourness in the flavor, with roasted and burnt malts running the show. Decent bitterness too, even some prunes, and a long roasted and lightly burnt finish. Not bad at all this one, tasteful and easy drinkable. Even moreish. 160803
